Founder & Group Chief Executive Officer
Ayanda Mbebe is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tsanana Asset Management, and the Founder of the Tsanana Group of Companies, which includes Tsanana Property Investments, Nyandeni Telecoms, and Tsanana Human Capital. Through these businesses, he leads initiatives across property investment, asset management, telecommunications, and human capital solutions in South Africa.
With over half a decade of experience in property law, debt recovery, and foreclosure administration, Ayanda established Tsanana Asset Management to combine legal expertise with strategic property and asset management solutions. His vision was to build businesses that not only manage assets but also create sustainable long-term value for clients and partners.
Before founding Tsanana, Ayanda gained valuable experience working with leading law firms in South Africa, where he managed complex foreclosure and debt recovery portfolios for major financial institutions. This experience provided him with deep insight into the legal, banking, and regulatory frameworks that shape property transactions and asset recovery.
In 2025, Ayanda was recognised as an award-winning business leader by Africa’s Under 40 CEOs and named among Africa’s 100 Leading Investors, recognising his growing influence, leadership, and innovation within the property and investment sectors.
